What is Reflexology?
- Reflexology is a calming, relaxing way to reduce stress and tension
- It is a specific massage technique used on the hands or feet
- Reflexology induces a state of deep relaxation and may be beneficial for most stress related conditions
- It is suitable for all ages and may bring relief from a wide range of conditions
- It can be used to help restore and maintain natural equilibrium, encouraging the body to work naturally to restore its own healthy balance
- Reflexology is one of the oldest forms of therapy - the ancient Egyptians and Chinese were particular fans. It first came to prominence in America in the 1930's and was introduced to the UK in the 1960's

What to expect from a Reflexology treatment
Reflexology is a calming, relaxing experience and certainly does not tickle, although sensitivity does vary from person to person.
Often benefits are felt after just one treatment, however, a series of treatments may be needed before a significant change is noticed.
After treatment there may be a temporary reaction as the body readjusts. This could be a feeling of well being, relaxation, lethargy or a sensation of being 'off colour'. This is short lived and is simply part of the rebalancing process.
Hand Reflexology
Hand Reflexology has all the benefits of foot Reflexology and is especially useful when the feet can't be worked on or the client's feet are especially sensitive.
